HDR stands for HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE. The images in this gallery were created by taking the same picture 9 times. The first shot is taken at 4 stops under, the last of the nine shots at 4 over. The nine shots, all at different exposures, are combined and tone mapped to create one HDR image. All details and differences in contrast are visible.
